All those camps and clinics are great - but this is the real thing - playing on an Evolution club team, wearing the Evolution uniform, bonding with teammates, and experiencing real match play.  Over the course of a whole season, athletes get so much instruction and experience with match and tournament play, that playing on a club team is actually a great value considering the number of contact hours. There's just no substitute for the experience and FUN of a season of club volleyball!

The registration fee for tryouts is $35 in advance, Walk-ups are welcome but will pay $50. This fee includes a CEVC T-shirt. 

After signing in as a registered user (or creating an account if you are a new user), you can add your dependent athlete to your profile and then register and them for tryouts.

NEW THIS YEAR

USA Volleyball requires that each athlete register within their region - our region's governing body is the Carolina Region Volleyball Association, or CRVA. Prior to tryouts, you must register on the CRVA website and this will later turn into a full-year USAV membership once your athlete is placed on a team.  Registration on the CRVA/USAV website will not open until Sept 1st at the earliest.  The region ask that parents and families be patient with this process.  Should you have any questions in regards to this requirement please contact us.

PLEASE NOTE
Please bring your completed USAV Medical Form (see below Travel Season Forms), CRVA Membership Form, and Player Information Form (see below Travel Season Forms). CRVA REGISTRATION will open in early-September.  

WHAT TO BRING
At tryouts, you will need to bring a copy of all requested forms as outlined above.  Athletes should wear comfortable athletic attire including athletic shoes.  Volleyball-specific attire is not required, and athletes will be given a T-shirt to wear during tryouts. Kneepads are optional but most athletes prefer to wear them. Each athlete should also have plenty of water in a sealable water jug or bottle, labeled with their name.

Tryout Cost: $35 (Walk Up is $50)

Boys and Girls Volleyball:  The "tryouts" are actually an evaluation of the player to deterime which level team she will be placed.  If your athlete can not make these dates, please contact us and we can do an individual tryout evaluation. We want to develop as many athletes to play the game as we can! 

Tryout Dates by Age Eligibility for 2023-2024:

USA VOLLEYBALL JUNIOR PLAYER AGE DEFINITION For use during the 2023-2024 Season
Once a player participates (including but not limited to practicing, training, attending workouts and/or competing) in a club or varsity program for any university, college, community college, or junior college, he/she is ineligible to take part in any regional and national programming, which includes but is not limited to national JNC qualifying and championship events.

18 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2005 OR Players who were born on or after July 1, 2004 and a high school student in the twelfth (12th) grade or below during some part of the current academic year

17 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2006

16 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2007 

15 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008 

14 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2009

13 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2010

12 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2011

11 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2012 
10 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2013 
9 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2014 
8 and Under Division: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2015

**This will be the age group with which a player will initially try out.
